Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets

The Pittsburgh Steelers started in 1933 as the Pirates. Throughout the 1930s, the Steelers never made it as high as second place in the division. The Steelers suffered from player shortage in 1940s and began to merge with other teams. The first merger was with the Philadelphia Eagles, where they finished 5-4-1. In 1944, the team merged with the Cardinals and made a franchise history, marking the only winless team finishing 0-10. In 1947, the Steelers made it through the playoffs for the first time but lost 21-0. For 25 years, that would be the only playoff appearance of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In 1970, the Pittsburgh Steelers moved to their new home in Three Rivers Stadium, that same year, the team chose Terry Bradshaw, quarterback from Louisiana Tech. Three years after a single win season, head coach Chuck Noll led the team to its first division title. It was also the spark of the beginning of the dynasty. The Steelers won seven Central Division championships and four Super Bowl from 1972-1980.

For the first time since their Super Bowl victory in 2005, 2007 season became a disappointment for the Steelers being beaten on the wild card round. The Pittsburgh Steelers is looking forward on improving their 10-6 record. The Steelers will still emerge as the defending champions of the AFC North division. Although they have the most complicated schedule in the league, the Pittsburgh Steelers are still known to be a Super Bowl contender.

The Steelers may have barely outwitted the Browns on last year’s playoff spot, but they have improved enough not to watch their back on their division. Come and watch the rarest dynasties in sports live in action. Get your Pittsburgh Steelers tickets now and feel the excitement at Heinz Field.

Perry Biggerstaff's 2010 NFL Mock Draft
The Steelers would love for Earl Thomas to fall to them, but with the talented safety off the board, they will finally find more than journeymen and wave players to block for their QB.

Handling Steelers' Big Ben's Head With Care
In October, a congressional hearing on NFL head injuries took place, addressing growing concerns that the NFL has created a culture where players do not report injuries to team doctors. Steelers Vs. Vikings Mini Blog-A-Thon
Since the Steelers game is televised today, I am skipping the local watering hole and going straight for the recliner ($30 bucks I get to keep). But that means I won't get to enjoy semi-friendly banter with other teams' fans, or share fist-bumps and high-fives with fellow Steelers faithfuls.

Grading The Steelers: Game Three Vs. Bengals
I'd like to preface this by saying the following: if I am overly critical and come off upset and down about our Steelers, please forgive me. I wear this team with me every week and love them just as much as any true Steeler fan would. Right now though I feel like a parent who has a troublemaker child. I love the child and I always am, but I'm just disappointed in them right now.

Steelers' Reed Doesn't Need Redemption
The Steelers' 14-17 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week two was gut-wrenching to watch. It also was no picnic fielding text messages, voicemails and emails from my friends in Chicago afterward. And then, there was the drive to work the next morning, during which I had the pleasure of hearing the game dissected and analyzed for a full hour. Smug callers and all-knowing radio guys proceeded to chew up and spit out my beloved Steelers as I sipped my iced coffee in the stop-and-go Atlanta traffic.
